MARGINAL AREA, AND DEGRADED CUTRE 
THE DEMOLITION OF PUBLIC SPACE FOR A BEAUTIFUL CITY COUNCIL Sant Adria de Besos (BARCELONA.CATALUNYA.SPAIN)
In June 2008, from these very pages Besòs Bank Forum ("Privatizing the public. The pool of Sant Adria de Besos converted into a disco" post of June 23, 2008) we reported what we thought it was an action against the public interest and without regard to urban management by municipal government of Sant Adria de Besos. We refer to the change "temporary" that, taking the "declaration of drought", made the municipal government (PSC / IC-EUiA) of public facilities in the Park of Sant Adrià del Litoral (bar, restaurant, internal green spaces and swimming pools) transforming into a disco night, subletting through company that managed, Facilities Management and Maintenance Sports Gimesport SA, a second company, in turn, returned to sublet each of the bars to different companies.
This change of use at some facilities built at the time by the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bBarcelona, \u200b\u200bin the Parque del Litoral, and pool area, bar, restaurant, gardens and lake, unfortunately led to the destruction of an essential part of the park.
In the Coastal Park Guide published by the Mancomunitat of Municipalities of the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bBarcelona is still describing this public space as follows:
"Its prime location next to the sea makes the park an original and attractive space. The park and beach are separated by a seafront promenade in the final section expands as a plaza and gazebo. Inside the park you can find a pool of fun shapes with a total area of \u200b\u200b1000m2 water. In addition, two roads built with railway sleepers and crossing the complex structure in several areas.
